Lots in a planned housing development west of Interstate 29 in Hillsboro could fetch $12,000 to $45,000 depending on their location, according to the city’s mayor.

Hillsboro City Commission President Terry Sando on Monday told the Hillsboro Economic Development Corp. that the development continues to inch forward.

Sando recently met with local landowner and Total Ag Industries President Pat Muller and a Grand Forks Realtor about pricing the proposed lots on Muller’s land.

Based on the Realtor’s advice, Muller could ask $12,000 to $15,000 for regular density lots while more exclusive lots by the Goose River could fetch $45,000, Sando said.
