Rob Longthorne is no stranger to Hillsboro Elementary School.
In fact, the school’s new fourth-grade instructor is walking the same hallways his four children traveled during their school years.
But the 15-year Hillsboro resident admits he was just as nervous for Wednesday’s first day of classes as he was for his first day of teaching 18 years ago.
“People know I’m a big personality,” the 49-year-old said Monday with a laugh. “That puts a lot of pressure on myself to live up to what people are expecting.”
